Shoals Technology Group Inc., a provider of electrical balance of systems solutions for solar, storage and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, has hired Jeff Tolnar as senior vice president of electric vehicle solutions.
Tolnar has 25 years of experience in the technology, energy and electric mobility services area. In his new role with the Tennessee-based company, Tolnar will be responsible for expanding Shoals’ solar EBOS solutions into the global EV market to enable more economical, efficient and higher quality EV charging infrastructure deployments.
Tolnar most recently served as chief commercial officer for Shell|Greenlots, where he was responsible for the company’s electric mobility solution sales, marketing, regulatory policy, sales operations and partnerships.
Prior to Shell, Tolnar served as president of global software solutions for Honeywell’s Homes, Buildings and Utilities businesses.
He is a graduate of Youngstown State University and has a master’s of business administration from Baker University.
Shoals has also hired Brian Van Heel as vice president of sales in the United States, Josep Tienda as vice president of sales in EMEA and Kathy Heilmann as vice president of marketing for the company.
