Nissan and country music superstar Blake Shelton are pairing up during Shelton’s 13-stop “Doing It To Country Songs” Tour for great country music and high visibility for Nissan’s 2017 Titan and Titan XD vehicles.
The deal includes 14 additional festival dates where Shelton is to appear around the country. As presenting sponsor, Nissan’s imprint will be all over Shelton’s headliner and festival events, with marketing, promotional and in-venue messaging, as well as social media and on-site vehicle displays.
“Nissan and our American Titan naturally go well with country music, ” Nissan spokesman Jeremy Tucker told Broadway World. “Blake Shelton is an incredible artist, performer and partner and we are extremely proud to add him to our Nissan family.”
Pickups were the first vehicles Nissan made in the United States, more than 30 years ago in Tennessee. The company recently announced a new king cab for Titan and Titan XD to go along with the current crew cab and single cab options. The trucks are assembled in Canton, Mississippi, with V8 engines assembled in Decherd, Tennessee.
