The Automotive Industry Action Group is making its full suite of Quality Core Tools assessments, select eLearning and eDocuments free to the automotive industry through 2020.
The Industry Restart Package for Quality will ensure that quality professionals have the critical and basic industry knowledge they need. Participants will begin with a core tools self-assessment, where they can benchmark their competency in the core tools against more than 17,000 assessments completed globally to date.
Once participants have gained a better understanding of where additional knowledge may be required, they can select Core Tools eLearning and full versions of the Core Tools eDocuments to increase their knowledge for additional training.
Among free eLearning courses being offered:
- Core Tools Overview eLearning — Creates awareness of Advanced Product Quality Planning and Control Plan (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA). There’s an overview of how the Core Tools can help your company improve.
- Quality Core Tools – Connect the Dots eLearning — Provides participants with a better understanding of how APQP/PPAP/Control Plan, FMEA, MSA and SPC work together to assure quality.
- Implementing APQP, Control Plan and PPAP — Participants can learn the skills needed to implement the APQP process, develop control plans and complete the production part approval process smoothly, efficiently and effectively.
